Prepare a comprehensive needs assessment of business opportunities within the Department of Homeland Security, including identification of key agency decision makers and state and local stakeholders

Assist in the development of marketing plans and strategies related to federal funding opportunities, including assistance in the development of briefing materials, white papers, and correspondence

Develop and prioritize potential legislative strategies to enhance federal support for client interests

Analyze Congressional support for individual programs and projects, including identification of key Congressional stakeholders and decision makers

Monitor Congressional and Executive branch activities and provide analysis of policy trends; develop and implement strategies regarding pending legislation and regulations

Create a geo-political profile that can be used as a tool to attract support for client interests. Assist in representing clients and their interests before Congress and the Department of Homeland Security

Advise clients in business dealings with the Department of Homeland Security and/or Congress

Assist in identifying a diverse group of potential Congressional champions in both the House and Senate who would be supportive of the clients’ business objectives

Identify and organize key grassroots supporters who can be used at specific points in the legislative process

Identify and leverage precedents wherein other entities have received similar support for DHS funding

Identify potential business partners, including associations and professional organizations
