MXM Consulting designs strategic plans unique to each client’s objective. Strategies can include any combination of the following action items: 
  • Prepare a comprehensive needs assessment of business opportunities within the Department of Homeland Security, including identification of key agency decision makers and state and local stakeholders
  • Assist in the development of marketing plans and strategies related to federal funding opportunities, including assistance in the development of briefing materials, white papers, and correspondence 
  • Develop and prioritize potential legislative strategies to enhance federal support for client interests 
  • Analyze Congressional support for individual programs and projects, including identification of key Congressional stakeholders and decision makers 
  • Monitor Congressional and Executive branch activities and provide analysis of policy trends; develop and implement strategies regarding pending legislation and regulations 
  • Create a geo-political profile that can be used as a tool to attract support for client interests. Assist in representing clients and their interests before Congress and the Department of Homeland Security 
  • Advise clients in business dealings with the Department of Homeland Security and/or Congress 
  • Assist in identifying a diverse group of potential Congressional champions in both the House and Senate who would be supportive of the clients’ business objectives 
  • Identify and organize key grassroots supporters who can be used at specific points in the legislative process  
  • Identify and leverage precedents wherein other entities have received similar support for DHS funding 
  • Identify potential business partners, including associations and professional organizations
